Education and Performance

Jeremy Dittus holds a doctorate of musical arts in piano performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and masters degrees in piano performance and music theory from the Cincinnati College–Conservatory of Music.

During his undergraduate work, Jeremy obtained bachelor degrees in piano performance and chemistry. His Dalcroze License and Certificate comes from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge. His former teachers include Lisa Parker, Anne Farber, Andrew Cooperstock, Michael Chertock, Frank Weinstock, and George Cherry.

Jeremy has performed throughout the United States and Italy. His solo concerti performances include appearances with the Shaker Heights Symphony Orchestra and the Mozart Sinfonietta of Cleveland.

Teaching

A former lecturer in piano, theory, and solfège at the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory in Cleveland, Jeremy currently instructs undergraduate solfège courses at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has also presented workshops for various divisions within the University of Colorado College of Music, local schools in the Denver-Boulder area, and for various musical events including Piano Celebration at Metropolitan State University in Denver, Peaks to Plains Suzuki Institute, and the Colorado Music Educators Association State Convention. In addition, Jeremy directs the music program at the First United Methodist Church of Lafayette, maintains a private piano studio, and conducts Dalcroze classes in the Denver area.
